Oil and Gas Compliance Services

Environmental policies are based upon comprehensive analysis of air, water, and land pollution and that environmental strategies actively identify and address these interrelationships by designing policies for the "whole" facility. This requires that oil and gas (natural gas and crude oil) facilities meet varying sets of regulatory compliance policies based on the type of industry activities conducted: oil and gas extraction,  production, or refining activities.

LTE has consulted for the the oil and gas industry since 1992 for bulk storage, production, and refining facilities in preparing Spill Prevention, Control, and Countermeasure Plans (SPCC), Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans (SPPP), and Materials Management Plans (MMP), as well as conducting site assessments, air and water quality monitoring, remediation activities, and hydrocarbon gas leak detection.

Recently, LTE was instrumental in representing the oil and gas industry during the preparation of the new Colorado Oil and Gas Conservation Commission (COGCC) regulations. LTE prepared position papers for our clients summarizing the new regulations and presenting cost-effective solutions for maintaining compliance with these regulations, as well as testifying at public hearings.
