ENVIRONMENTAL REGULATORY COMPLIANCE

LTE personnel are thoroughly versed in federal, state, and local regulatory requirements for environmental compliance. Work has been completed under the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA), Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation and Liability Act (CERCLA), Clean Air Act, Clean Water Act, National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), Asbestos Hazard Emergency Response Act (AHERA), and Toxic Substance Control Act (TSCA).

State regulations include industrial and construction stormwater, air quality, pollution prevention, storage tank, oil and gas extraction/production, and groundwater programs. LTE has provided compliance under state programs across the United States from the Rocky Mountain region to the east coast and the Gulf coast—and programs in Quebec, Canada. LTE has prepared compliance programs for our clients for multi-state oil and gas sites that included all of the requirements.

Recently, LTE was instrumental in representing the oil and gas industry during the preparation of the new Colorado Oil and Gas Conservation Commission (COGCC) regulations. LTE prepared position papers for our clients summarizing the new regulations and presenting cost-effective solutions for maintaining compliance with these regulations, as well as testifying at public hearings.
