ENVIRONMENTAL/CIVIL ENGINEER

LT Environmental, Inc. has a current opening for a staff engineer to assist our regulatory/compliance team.
The position requires developing spill control and containment plans (SPCC plans) for multiple locations in the oil and gas business and other industries. The candidate will be able to meet strict deadlines, manage projects, interact with clients, organize large quantities of data, supervise field crews, and prepare cost estimates and budgets. This position requires a detail oriented person possessing competent technical writing skills.
A minimum of three years of progressive experience in an engineering discipline required. The candidate will be registered as an engineering intern, and possess, or be working toward obtaining a professional engineer license. Familiarity with SPCC plans & regulations and/or oil and gas operations required. Current OSHA Hazwoper training preferred. Site investigation/remediation experience a plus. Must be proficient in Access database, Excel, Word, and Adobe.
Degree Requirement:
B.S. in civil, environmental, or related engineering discipline required.
GEOLOGIST

Individual must have 4 to 7 years of experience in performing environmental
consulting services, specifically Phase I/II site assessments. Applicants
must possess a bachelors degree in Geology from an accredited college or
university. The position involves task/project management and
implementation including the coordination and preparation of assessment
proposals and plans, implementation of site assessment fieldwork
including boring/well installation and soil/groundwater sampling, data
management, and report preparation. Oil and Gas and UST project
experience a plus.
